For starters, Ohio, California, and Kansas are just a few of the states already struggling to contain measles outbreaks.
Now, in addition to measles, more than 1,000 children in 10 states -- Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Iowa, Colorado, Ohio, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Georgia -- have suddenly become infected with a rare respiratory virus, not seen in the U.S. since the 1960s, called human Enterovirus EV-D68. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention claim that the rare strain is related to the same rhinovirus responsible for causing the common cold.
So how exactly were all these diverse geographical locations able to be struck by the same disease?
Time to grow up and learn the nature of infectious diseases and more importantly, what happens when carriers are introduced into a population without immune systems able to resist.
Hint: think Native Americans and smallpox.

It would help if the Obama Administration would disclose where those illegal immigrant children have been placed.
In any investigation of infectious diseases, the investigators try to locate patient zero, if they can. It is legitimate to question why these rare diseases have broken out in the numbers they have in several different states simultaneously.
Do you have a better theory than numbers of new residents showing up in the various schools, thus infecting the students already there?
First off, the enterovirus outbreak started in the summer, BEFORE school. I am not sure if you are aware of this, but people often take vacations and travel in the summer.

This particular strain is rare, according to my reading. So how would it have occured more or less simultaneously in several different states as a result of your family reunion. Sorry, but that theory strains credibility.
From what I can find, the outbreak started in mid August. Around here school starts in mid August. Probably does in a lot of other places too.

If you want to eliminate the illegal immigrant children as the source, the place to start is full disclosure of where they were placed. Why do you have a problem with that?

Why does no one blame the previous administration, or the one before that, and so on. I wish Obummer and the congress did his job when it comes to securing our border, and I also wish the political party that did the most talking years ago, did something about it as well. They just keep passing the buck, so will the next administration, nobody has the balls to do what's right.

Information suggests that the outbreak could have started BEFORE the start of school in the middle of August:

Also, the virus strain did not just show up this year like Columbus in showing up into the New World.

This shows that the strain infact shows up from time to time, and it is there for entirely probable for citizen to be the source of the disease.
