We've heard some stories of high school bullies whose victims have taken their own lives due to the grief they have gone through. Do you think even though these bullies are minors, they have essentially proven themselves as worthless human beings and should get life and or death as a way to comfort the victims' families and protect the greater society?

Unless the bully pulls the trigger, administers the fatal dose, kicks the chair out from under the noose, drags the razor across the vein, no.

Bullying sucks, but why has it become this major issue lately? Stand up for your damn self and grow a pair.

When we start punishing people for being idiots we'll run out of prisons.

What someone does with their life is not anyone else's fault. Taking your own life is your OWN choice. Why should someone else be charged with murder or even manslaughter for that?!

Bullies deserve punishment, but life in prison? Way too much. Prison time at all is too much. Other action should be taken to avoid problems with bullying.

Also, who caused a suicide (besides the person who actually did it) can't really be proven. That is to say, you can try and blame a single individual, but the chances of that one person being the only factor is close to impossible.

I voted yes, because it needs to be just about as severe. But I'd also like to make a distinction between underage school-bullying, and adult/college-bullying.

For the most part the misdeeds that lead up to suicides and school mass shootings are ignored
