There is some rational thought behind that. Turn out was low, nationally. Its why Republicans, generally, do well during the midterms because the electorate is older, whiter, and more Republican. The fact that many of the Senate seats that were up were in Red states made matters worse.

Democrats can blame themselves for not following up on their own policies, walking back from the President, and really not doing anything in the Senate.

Its not complete idiocy to say that Republicans won because Democrats didn't vote, but what exactly did the Democratic party give their followers to vote for? Not much.

"I know where the money is. I know where to get it." Perfectly sums up that greedy, vacuous woman.

The libs will come up with all kind of excuses why they lost. They will never admit it's because their policies stink, and the people are getting fed up with their BS. This administration will go down as one of the worst in history.

There are none so blind as those who refuse to see.

Democrats DID push their own ideology. They DID go along with ,and shield Obama from his actions, and they DID do lots in the Senate (obstruct the House).

Those are the things that got them un-elected.

When the GOP does the things conservatives insist it do... they win. The problem is, it rarely even tries.

They, too, don't seem to learn.

They didn't in the election, did you watch anything? "Did you vote for Obama?" "I am not going to answer that question...."

Just saw a picture of Pelosi and Reid, and they looked like someone just stole their candy. Hilarious.

i dont know if i should ask in another thread but i have a question

when democrat members of congress lose seats/elections is it because they didnt do "enough" as far as executing liberal policies or because their constituents think they have the wrong policies?

i know with obama he does nothing wrong and democrats say that he is "too nice" or something to that effect

or does it all just come back to the nothing being accomplished because of "republican obstructionism" arguement?

Well, considering more Republicans voted than Democrats, I would say that conclusion is accurate.
