I hate to tell you this, but pro-business policies are what drive an economy. That means jobs, sonny boy.

It is the anti-business policies of Barack Obama and the Democrats that have immiserated this nation since His Majesties election. It is also one of the reasons that they were so soundly defeated in this election.

The cliché is getting very tiresome. Republicans have done more to lift people out of poverty than the Democrats, with all their rhetoric, have ever done. This is not even disputable. When the economy expands, opportunity abounds, unless government regulation steps in to stifle it. Obama and his band of merry men have done everything possible to stifle the expansion of business, with their onerous regulations and ever more powerful regulatory agencies.

Horse manure! It is your party that is broadening the gap by failing to bring any Republican bills to the floor of the Senate; bills that would stimulate the creation of jobs, and encourage new business start ups.

Isn't it time you people quit lying?

You are right.

Obama has only signed one true anti-business legislation and that was Obamacare. The Keystone Pipeline couldn't go through the Senate before getting to his desk. As for what Republicans can do, can they tax companies who want to offshore businesses to other nations? Oh wait they can't because that is "anti-business... What is more important, appeasing business who can't vote or the people who feel the brunt of some pro-business legislation like a laxed EPA of encouraging offshoring.

I think we will never know as they could remain higher than usual by shifting of the economy. That is what happened over years from liberal policies and spending in Europe.

e130478 :"The refusal of certain people to acknowledge even the most obvious forms of American economic progress is absolutely astounding. There are people who actually think the BLS is defrauding the American people with "fake numbers." Hilarious."

Yup, government never lies.

The stock market is not the economy.

You are mistaken. Obama's entire political philosophy is anti-business. Nothing he has done is pro-business.

How about you show some proof if you are going to claim rhetoric is fact. I am NOT an Obama supporter. I voted McCain in 08 because I didn't trust Obama and by 2012, he didn't do anything to gain my trust so I voted Romney. However besides being against traditional fossil fuels and actually signing Obamacare, what makes Obama so anti-business?
