If the media can control popular opinion to such an anti-legal, irrational and destructive extent, then what good is our system? It certainly isn't secure nor does it lead away from violence. Right now, we seem to be a nation in a constant state of restrained civil war. Is such a state the eventual outcome of liberalism and liberal democracy? How can that turn out well? Our political system should naturally work to reduce violence, given humanity's barbaric past, and not constantly work to bring about revolutionary political states within the nation.
I just turned on CNN, and it looks like hardly anyone out on the streets...
Most of their reporters have retreated to 'safer' areas because they were being threatened. Easy enough to peruse the other channels to see the looting, burning, etc.
Is that right? You're watching the ENTIRE Black race looting and destructing property?
I will say this: I've watched the live feeds for the last month or so. There has always been a pretty decent percentage of white people in the protestors. Sometimes 50/50.
In every looting shot I've seen tonight, it has been 100% black. 100%.
s the panel's decision was unveiled at a press conference in Missouri at 8:30pm CT on Monday, Brown's mother collapsed in tears, while the victim's stepfather screamed 'Burn this b**** down'.
The protest in NYC seems to be more peaceful......
They are throwing fake blood in NY
