Tell the whole truth guys, you're misleading the viewers...
"but the grand jury charging him with single felony counts of third-degree criminal weapon possession and criminal firearm possession."
NOT for filming...
As long as everyone understands that the arrest happened before Garner was killed and Ramsey Orta was indicted on a completely unrelated charge
Quote:
In August, less than a month after filming the fatal July 17 encounter in which Daniel Pantaleo and other police officers confronted Garner for allegedly selling untaxed cigarettes, a grand jury indicted Orta on weapons charges stemming from an arrest by undercover officers earlier that month.
It should also be noted that the Grand Jury was not comprised of the same people that chose to not indict the police officer today.

The headline is misleading. I suppose Huffington Post is hoping no one reads anything but the headline to draw an opinion. And it appears that's the case for some.
Entirely different incident as article pointed out. He was indicted on a weapons charge in another case. Each is judged on the evidence. One has nothing to do with the other. Just as if they can prove who did arsons and looting they will be charged; no go past jail or get out of jail free. Remember indictment means a group of citizens says there is enough evidence to send the case to trial. There another group will decide on innocents or guilt.

Sure. No way would the cops who just murdered a man plant a gun on someone who just filmed it.
