The NYC police are engaging in mob tactics to coerce the mayor into backing them no matter what. In any organization or company this should not stand. Those cops that are slowing down work and those that turned their backs should be fired. These individuals are not fit to serve.
What exactly did the mayor say that got them riled up? Missed that one.
These cops turning their backs on the mayor during a freakin' FUNERAL of their fellow officer is disgraceful. They're engaging in an act of protest during a somber ceremony. It's disrespectful not only to the mayor but ESPECIALLY to the officer who died & his family. That funeral is no place to engage in politics & take away the focus from what it should be on, that dead officer. Those cops are completely unprofessional & selfish.
Speaking of disgraceful, de Blasio's wife wore jeans to the funeral.
Yes, wearing jeans is right up there with turning your backs while the mayor is speaking. Anyway, what was it that the mayor said that has the police so enraged?

Turning their backs to De B at least is meant to represent something. Jeans to a funeral is weird, even to a non-fashionista like me.
Why are the cops angry at De B ? Asked and answered a zillion times.
i think the cops in NYC need to stopd doing anything until the people figure out
1. they are the good guys
2 they kick de blasio the dodo out of office.

I'm not about to go back & read this entire thread. A simple answer would suffice. Did he specifically say the cops are racist? I don't recall hearing that.
More cops were shot last night and police just arrested 3 suspects. Why doesn't deblasio and his death to cops friends just start issuing police hunting permits?
People shouldn't have to repeat themselves over and over because you are lazy.
And you don't have to be rude by calling me lazy. Seriously, a simple answer would've done it. But here, is this what you're talking about?
On December 3, 2014, de Blasio stated in a speech following a grand jury decision not to indict NYPD officer Daniel Panteleo in the death of Eric Garner that he and his black wife Chirlane McCray, had had many conversations[92] with their son regarding taking "special care in any encounters he has with the police officers who are there to protect him."[93] The mayor explained that what he and his wife did was "What parents have done for decades who have children of color, especially young men of color, [which] is train them to be very careful whenever they have an encounter with a police officer," adding "I have talked to many families of color. They have had to have the same conversation with their sons."[94]
Hardly what I would call calling the cops racist. More like a reality check & telling their kids to be polite to cops. So that's what all the cops & cons on here have their panties in a twist over. Amazing.
