I am on a no carbohydrates (starch and sugars) diet. Without meat I would be stuck with tofu. After a month of that I would need to be chained to a post and fed with a long stick.

FWIW: most of the creatures providing our meat are vegetarians. That says something about vegetarianism.

eggs used to be bad, then they were good, then the yokes were bad, now they are good again.

saccarin was bad.
