Hopefully it works better than what Tennessee does with their state tech schools. Their Vo-Tech programs are a joke.

For those who do not know, Tennessee passed a law that already does this for high school graduates only.

Even if an education is free, you have to have the motivation to pursue it. The problem isn't a low number of people going to college, it's a low amount of people that should be studying what they are studying. Too many kids go to school for what their parents tell them to whether they like it or not.

I'd rather divert money from our massively oversized military

Edit: Actually I'd be fine with cutting some foreign aid such as the money we're giving to China and Russia, I wouldn't want to see any cut from the ones that need it though

investing in education is a far worthier cause than some of the other baloney we pay through the nose for.

You are. I'm retired and on a pension.

I just checked the local CC here.

A 2 year AAS degree in small business mgmt would cost about $6K..just tuition credits.
