Many years ago, when I was young and naive, I happened upon someone who asked me what laws were voluntary. I cited things like "driving 1 mph over the speed limit".
No, you can get stopped for that. If you don't stop, eventually they will commit violence against you - including killing you, for 1 MPH over the speed limit.
I know this logic must be true, because liberals claimed that Michael Brown was shot for being black. So, if you get shot or otherwise violence taken against for attempting to drive above the speed limit, you were shot for being 1 mph over the speed limit.
That bit of rhetoric aside, it set me to wondering why we have laws that are not worth killing someone to enforce. Of course, that was decades ago and the laws have multiplied since.
Recently, the EPA, the BLM, and other "regulatory" agencies have been showing up with military forces, designed to kill in mass quantities, for no other purpose than arbitrary inspections, etc.
Eventually, because you can't find an exception, you have to realize that all law is enforced by threat of death. Why? Because that's the only means of enforcement to exist. ALL enforcement is predicated upon you complying, or being killed for not complying.
There's a lot of teeth gnashing lately about law enforcement committing violence. Yet, that is exactly their function - to make you do what they say or kill you.
Thus, it has become inescapable that ALL LAW IS ENFORCED BY THREAT OF DEATH.
When you propose a law, you are saying "this is worth killing someone to enforce".
Once you look at law in that light, you begin to think that there's a lot of laws that are NOT worth enforcing by threat of death. In fact, 99.9% of laws are not worth killing to enforce. So why are so many laws proposed and written?
The left in this country is decrying law enforcement violence, yet, they want more and more laws written - all of which will be enforced by threat of death. Is that cognitive dissonance? I believe so.
Government Police can and will escalate any situation to the point death if a citizen challenges their position (or defends themselves against a guv cop)
I think we have all seen enough vids and read enough news reports proving such, so its silly to even try to dispute this fact.
Police don't intentionally shoot you unless you are a threat to the cop or others. They don't shoot you because you shoplifted. But when they try to arrest you, and you become combative to the point that you threaten their lives, then they can and will defend their lives. As it should be.
