It's just a way to chip around the edges because they know they can never get the law overturned outright. They are trying to limit it so much that it will essentially be illegal to get one even if it abortion is legal.
Opinion-wise, it's not working. The chart below indicates opinion has been statistically flat since 1975.

A fetus does not equal a PERSON who is a soldier, or a PERSON who gets killed by a gun, or a PERSON who dies of AIDS, or a PERSON who dies in a car accident.

I like how he is assuming that because the women would have to give birth that 100 percent of the children would then grow up to be anti abortion .
Oh, yeah, I forgot. Someone on this thread implied a fetus is a parasite.
So when does a fetus become a PERSON?
When you can list them as a dependent on your taxes.
