I agree that no one should be denied rights. What rights are gays being denied?

Quit beating a dead horse. Next it will be people just like you claiming plural marriage is an equal right.

If two women could marry, but two men could not, then they'd have a case for unequal treatment.

The right to equal protection of the laws as guaranteed by the 14th amendment. States are still denying the legal protections of marriage to same sex couples.

Wrong. It is about sex. A man can marry a woman but I am denied the ability to marry a woman based on the sex of the people getting married.

You can label it whatever you want, the strong majority of Americans support it, and you are losing on this issue - and will continue to do so. In 40 years' time you will be looked back on the same as we do today those who stood opposing integration and civil rights in the 50's and 60's.

Drop it, being gay is not deviant, but believing in a make believe person is. It is not special rights unless the straights continue to get them only, then the straights are getting special rights.

Well deviants already have the right to marry. Murderers, rapists, pedophiles, are already allowed to get married. Why shouldn't law abiding taxpaying American citizens have the same rights as convicted criminals?
