Remember the Tea Party is not a party - Nor is there a single organization. I see it is a more narrowly focused subset of the GOP, less willing to compromise.

Going to try that line again, eh? Your last thread with that line of thinking failed.

And if you want to talk about "warmed over poop," have a listen to any Democrat. They've been spewing the socialist garbage for years.

Correction, That's a former Republican, now Independent. No Dog in the Hunt, but good try. Get that old Tea Party Paintbrush and "Enemy of the Constitution" Paint out. You guys are funny, and your own worse enemy.

It is the part that the GOP has been working to remove from office.

And yet those who claim to be the Tea Party all side themselves with those points. Should we start a thread asking Tea Baggers what their view on same sex marriage is?

Second, we are driven to educate ourselves and others about the Constitution and how we have come to a point that we allow our elected officials to escape accountability.

Third, we are active in the political process.

Bingo!
The Leftists just don't 'get it.' Or, maybe they do, but they hate it, so they will ridicule, marginalize, mock, and lie every chance they get.

I have taken a Constitution course. It's amazing what you learn, not only about our Founders thinking, but also about the thinking of the so-called "Progressives" who want to destroy it. Progressive's hate the Constitution, because it was written to prevent the kind of government they seek. "Progressivism" is warmed over Marxist/socialism, packaged in a way they hope will sell better. But the product is the same.

we don't eat children, we not looney toon, we not some wild extreme crazy party, we just normal people that want the government to live up to the constitution that it........... nothing extra

and be honest, the tea party is not a party at all, there no national organization, it just everyday people.
That's perfectly normal to see. Jim Jones said the same thing, and had a lot of followers too. They claimed to be ordinary people tired of what was going on, and they took it one step further, they moved. Just didn't work out for them in the end. We are free to do what we like. Even the Klan had thousands of members . Normal people from all walks of life. Its a diverse Country, with freedoms to choose. No one ate children in either Party that has ever been formed. Its just not my "Cup of Tea."
