Shooting at police is like swatting a wasp nest to calm them down. Let's see how officers react around the country when you're hurting their own. They don't give a S**t about you, especially african americans. You are just going to make the situation worse.

is it a "trumped up" report or was it based on facts. so this is the DOJ's fault for reporting facts? lol. yeah, because the Ferguson pd was so popular before the DOJ report. How come only black people are told to take responsibility? why not frat boys on a bus or police officers who spent years terrorizing and leaching off of the black community?
I feel that the DOJ's trumped up report played a significant role in increasing the animosity to the extent that it probably influenced the shooter's actions.

Of course not...Republikans preach personal responsibility unless they can attempt to blame a Democrat, Hispanic, Muslim, or black person.
This falls on the Police Department. They need to clean house and start over. The neglected listening to concerns of the citizens of that community for decades. This has been boiling over for some time. Trust needs to be re-established. I think every officer in that department would be wise to resign and move. It sounds unfair, but it is for the best.
That kind of mentality is just going to get more officers killed. For once, put ideology to rest and LISTEN to what people are trying to tell them. At this point, Ferguson is in damage control. The whole department needs to be shut down and rebuilt from scratch.
That's just NUTS - the shooters are not responsible for attempted MURDER against 2 police officers standing outside of the Police Department ?????? Exactly what type of "ideology" condones Cop Killing?
Ferguson isn't in "damage control" ..... it's in Free-Fall to anarchy - I hope they all enjoy it.
We agree on one thing -- they need to shut down the Ferguson Police Department and just let the "peaceful protestors" who are shooting at Cops and Burning the city run the place.
Ferguson, MO is all but destroyed by these people -- let them celebrate their Victory.
