2. Hunting for sport: if you don't need to hunt to survive, but hunt anyways, then skrew you. You are a sadistic person who gets his jollies killing innocent animals.

1. Self defense: you are 43 times more likely to have a gun grabbed out of your hands by an intruder and be shot with it, than to use to successfully in self defense. MMS: Error

There are only about 200 self defense shootings in a year. There are about 30,000 other gun deaths.

Hows about the Constitution says I can ! That's all you need to know! Everything else is just you ranting. By the way how do you know the animals being killed are innocent? A lot of them are guilty of murder and cannibalism that's punishable by death in my book.

When someone finally survived their law officers to challenge them in court those towns' ordinances were found unconstitutional.

I don't think any of us gun owners care what your opinion of us is.

So you admit you are prejudice with no data to back your claim.

Actually, I think the sentiment around the country is against you. Eventually sanity will prevail IMO. Including revision of the current interpretation of the 2A.

Nor do I care what you think.

Eventually, sanity will prevail. Like it or not it'll happen, but its nothing to me.

The ban of open carry was in effect in the old frontier days, primary reason for the gunfight at OK Corral.

While this rhetoric has been bandied abound for a few decades..It's the same stuff when interpretations will agree with one's POV..No different than Interpretations of bible passages to support their rights to discriminate...

I really have to say..The more I read here and other places who evoke as an Fact. ..It's Written somewhere, so it's SO!! Only problem is..That is only one's ( or agenda driven one) interpretation..Many suggest the Bible says a lot of things..BUT it doesn't when translated into English..as does Interpretation of 2nd Amendment Rights..It's been warped by NRA since I can remember...If one listens to those misrepresentations long enough, THEY believe even tho the words written doesn't say so> Yet become FACT when one needs to validate what THEY BELIEVE!!

Sanity is prevailing. The vast majority of the states are loosening their laws and restoring more freedom. KS just passed Vermont carry. At the national level support for gun control is toxic, most politicians don't want to touch it.

Gun banners have always been a violent group. That's all the Tombstone/Earp incident proves.

Do you realize how many gun owners are in this country with multiple guns? The sentiment is not favorable to the Second Ammendment being tampered with by perhaps well intentioned but politically motivated people.

You don't live in a world any more safe now from tyrants than the Founders did. Sierra Leoneans learned that the hard way:

Sierra Leone legalises civilian use of arms and light weapons - News - africareview.com

They lost a lot of limbs to machettes before the state acknowledged citizens natural law rights to self defense.

The 2nd is the reason you don't really have it yet now. If you try and counter by saying socialist western Europe isn't a tyranny, i'll remind you that it comparatively is, but wait until the one country they look to for further safeguards finds its own citizens' natural law rights under progressive assault.
