Makes perfect sense that the Democrats would prefer Mexico since Mexico has been the perpetual enemy of the United States since inception. Name one time when Mexico hasn't taken the opposite side from the U.S. in any international dispute. Name one time when Mexico hasn't blamed the U.S. for its problems rather than taking responsibility for its own actions.
When has Mexico taken "the opposite side from the U.S. in any international dispute"? According to you they always take the opposite side.
Rasmussen Report: "Mexico better ally than Israel"
So let's see: We have a poll of 800 people, we don't know what part of the country they were from, on a country the US is bordered with and you quote that it's a better ally. Mexico is rarely in the news except in the southern US states for the most part. It rarely gets into into international politics due to it's own major problems in which the US spends an average of $9B per year across numerous budgets which includes large chunks of payroll spent of border control by land and by sea. And of course let's not forget the crime that US states have to deal with which are part of state budgets. For for Mexico to be getting an average of $9B per year and only being seen as 10 percentage points higher than Israel doesn't say much for Mexico especially when Canada is 20 percentage points higher than Mexico and costs the US, on average, $3B per year or $6B less than Mexico.
And by the way, since you decided to purposely skip Republicans, 76% of Republicans view Israel an ally.
That's not what the right-wingers want, when they talk illegal immigration, they only mean
Mexicans or Latinos in general, they never mean or target Europeans or Canadians.
Ask any Republicans ? It"s always about Mexico
Well since the amount of illegals that from Mexico averages around 7 Million compares the next country which is El Salvador which is 700,000 or 1/10th, most people are going to look at Mexico since it is around 64% of the yearly illegals that enter the US.
And BTW Canadians are around 70,000 or 1/100th and no European country (Europe is a region) even breaks the 1% mark.

Bottom line, the polls shows that the majority of Democrats believe that Mexico is a better ally than Israel.

Which Republicans you're talking about? The one in Israel? Are you counting the Republicans members of the Likoud party?
