You would think that all those bad gang dudes in the 'hoods selling drugs and shooting up the area would welcome the opportunity to protest against laws that make them criminals for owning guns.

Uh huh, and could you explain the lack of gun related violence there? There's really nothing to attempt to argue about. Gun crime in this country is outrageous. The fact that people choose to look the other way & pretend it doesn't exist is reprehensible.

Yet it's only concentrated on urban areas? I'm curious to know why we Virginians have a lower crime rate compared to neighboring MD which is a state rife with gun control.

You realize we're talking about this country as a whole, right? Oh, and another thing, wouldn't it make sense that urban areas what with their larger concentrated populations, would have a higher rate of gun crime?
