Good work by the police. I know there is a segment of the population that thinks the police should not arrest you for minor crimes. What was the cop to do, just let him go because he refused to cooperate?

Beating someone just so they don't get injured or killed in a traffic accident?

Nice logic.

Close your eyes, replace the police officer with a parent. That parent keeps repeating; "Stop that", instead of; "Quit resisting". Sadly, since respect isn't learned very much at home anymore, it isn't displayed in public very much as a result. It crosses every line in our society. Just as a parent would've told him, to get over here on the sidewalk. If he had learned any respect for that parent, he would've obeyed. Same for the officer.

Yawn
  • Black "teen" told to stop walking in bus lane. Poses danger to himself & passengers on buses.
  • It is a perfectly lawful order.
  • Black "teen" with obvious chip on shoulder refuses.
  • Cop moves to remove Black "teen" with chip on shoulder from bus lane.
  • Black "teen" with chip on shoulder decides to start physical fight with police.
Fighting with police only has one outcome. Not only do they make themselves an instant criminal, they will lose fight often with deadly result. Yet young Black males will choose to fight police like this dumb ass.
  • Black "teen" with chip on shoulder gets taken down by police.
  • Large number of police required due to his violent response.
  • Black "teen with chip on shoulder taken down without harm.
Entire episode could have been avoided if Black "teen" with chip on shoulder would have just complied like every other demographic in society.
  • Police are to be commended for handling it like they did.
  • Black "teen" with chip on shoulder could have been tazered or even shot.
Yet of course, this isn't good enough for BLM crowd. They side with the deviant behavior instead of commending cops for restraining violent Black "teen" with chip on shoulder without harm.

Your logic fails.

He was taken down for stupidly deciding to fight with police.

"stopped"

The driver already complied to the first order...of pulling over.
They didn't resist.

The chances of a weapon are still high, which is why they approach the way they do, however the real threats don't often comply right away.

"It's just a kid"

Kids are usually the dumbest and bravest offenders.

A 17 year old kid recently "ambushed" a few officers at a stoplight earlier this month in Las Vegas. Luckily only one officer was hit and in his hand of all places. Could have been a lot worse. He found a gun and decided he wanted to kill a cop.

Do yourself all a favor, stupid people. Listen and comply. Fight your rights in the court of law. Otherwise buckle up and accept your fate of resisting.

Jaywalking violate pedestrian traffic laws and that cop should have approached it differently than he did without using force. The thing some people have a problem with is following orders and rules. This is what it gets you, the law is unwavering, so stop thinking you can weasel your way out of s**t when dealing with cops.

Just another thug same story put your hands behind your back, people get arrested everyday, thugs seem to think they are immune. Good job to the officers getting these thugs off the street

Come on. There was no weapon. And there was no need to hit the kid. If a principal (at least in my system) hit a kid in a situation like that, the principal would have been fired.
Principals and teachers are a joke , they won't do anything without calling the police, why do you think they have cops in schools now, because overpaid principals can't handle everyday problems , so they pawn it off on the cop in the school, principals are lazy and worthless
