WRONG!!!

Kim Davis, was elected by the people of her County, in which she resides.

Nothing "US Government" about it. Nice Spin though.

The great thing about the USA..... No 2 places were the same. If you didn't like it, you moved.

drawing straws to equate the two -- oranges and apples my friend- if you cant to the job because it is against Gods will in your life- you MOVE on, as many people have when they have found God and been convicted of something. The woman took the law in her own hands-
Her move to contact her superiors and ask for waiver or whatever and sue- if not given to her as a conscientious objector..

You do realize that county governments concede some of their power to states who concede some of their power to federal law, right?

If you live and operate within the United States, you are subject to federal laws. Otherwise, her county would be an independent nation.

How don't you folks know this? It's American Civics 101.

The county clerk is a government position. For many people who don't have any criminal history, it's the government office they have the most interaction with. Ms Davis swore to perform the duties of the county clerk impartially. She then tried to interject her religious beliefs into the performance of such duties, thus failing to uphold the impartiality of her government office.

Great things about the USA....justice and equality.

Since the Pope is controlled by the 1%, anything he has to say on the subject of capitalism and compassion for the poor is just so much hypocritical bull$#@&.

The Constitution is the law of the land. The Southerners, for the most part, got over not be able to treat blacks as second class citizens most recently and as slaves long ago. People will get over gay marriage too, for the most part.

It's impressive how stoically you accept injustice - just as long as it happens to other people.

I agree with you. I find it so unbelievable that many who are speaking against his address to Congress, yet applauded and encourage the Israeli Prime Minster to do THE EXACT SAME THING!

I guess it is only laudable if he agrees with your world view, if not, we should him packing.
