I guarantee Obama will be long gone pre-sentencing.

This is a great letter from a retired soldier:

For now. Wait and see if this administration can find another reason to delay it, like to Feb. 2017.

He reportedly tried to join ISIS. Whether he did or not I do not know.

As long as he didn't fight with the enemy, he doesn't deserve to be threatened by his own people with death.
Before deciding anything, wait and see how his court martial goes and what comes out in testimony.

I would need to review the source, when it comes to wishing death on someone, it's best to not get information from a pop up "news site" or Facebook image with text art over the picture.

Would that be the same Bergdahl that was caught back in July in a California drug raid and the military had to collect him and bring him back to base and no charges where leveled against him???

For those who wish he would get thr death sentence I hope you served in the military or are headed to an office to join now because while you are sitting in the comforts of home, he was out there serving his country. It was wrong for him to let his fear get the best of him and he should recieve some kind of punishment, but wishing the death penalty on him is ridiculous when you are sitting at home.
Ten years Navy. Desert Storm. 6-7 years submarines SSN-696, 698, 692; BB-63 Desert Storm. CVN-70 until I got out.

Your comment was most likely directed at me and there is nothing more despicable than a deserter, especially when deployed. He put his unit in danger indirectly caused the death of a soldier looking for his worthless ass.

I have earned my comfort.
Have you?

You think this will drag out for a year, we will see.

If not for the release of Guantanamo detainees this would be low level news.

By the way there will be other detainees released over the course of the next year and who knows some day it will be closed.
