Bernie and Hillary agree on a lot. They are acting more like a team than opposition. I think the Democratic candidates look positively sane compared with the GOP during their debates.
That's what we have now: One Party that panders to hard conservative ideologues and another that works to get everyone else who bothers to vote.

Yeah, Hilary does much better in an extended format rather than sound bites. In small doses she isn't very likable, but when she has time for knowledgeable, thoughtful statements she's far more palatable.
While she might be neck and neck with the Republican field right now, I think she'd pull away from any of them after the debates. Especially Trump, who's just an uninformed blowhard.
I tuned in very late, but give it to Clinton on performance, Sanders on giving a clear voice to the problems facing the country. I don't think any president is going to change much, but of the Dems, Clinton is the insider who knows how to get stuff done and has the political connections too (Bush is the same on the other side).
Actually, no. What I got from his responses about Snowden, pot, and several other items I liked.
I must have missed the beating, which made him look insane.
I tuned in late so missed that.
