You have no argument here she was required to keep them and to turn them over without being asked.

we know that did not happen as was her responsibility.
then she stonewalled handing them over.

Yes, take act we already know who she is for decades a nature is not Presidential.
Really? How well do you think Ben Carson would hold up after being grilled for eight half-lidded hours by people who want NOTHING MORE than to take you down. He couldn't do it; he would be reduced to silly gibberish; as would Kasich; as would Trump - maybe not Fiorina.

We have seen Clinton and heard her in public for decades.
to review the obvious in available videos and quit acting like you've never seen or heard it before.

Well that will come as news to every civilian working for the State Department, or the CIA over the last 50 years.

As for the the "assents" in place to protect or extract... again, what is the proper level of assets, a squad, a platoon, a company, maybe a battalion? The problem with this thinking is the fact that the job in many areas of the world is just flat out dangerous and that State Dept, officials cannot do their freaking job from the cocoon of a presidential motorcade!

On of the constant and great failures of American foreign policy and intelligence is the fact that we don't have enough people on the ground. We are constantly screaming about not "seeing" something coming and for the most part it is because we have for far too long had state and intelligence officers sleeping outside the confines of embassies and consulates. The fact is these "civilians" recognize that the job places them in harms way, just like anyone in the armed services, and that the job puts them in harms way in very dangerous places and that to a certain degree they are expendable in the furtherance of American interest.

That was true in 1924 when the U.S. Consul to Tehran was killed, Saigon 1968 when the Saigon Embassy was overrun, Cyprus in 1974 when the Ambassador to Cyprus was killed, Beirut 1983, 63 dead; Beirut 1984... on and on and on.

WTF does that mean? She's an accomplished speaker. She can hold up under tremendous pressure.

This is not news to me.

You try it. See how you do.

It is kind of sad that Congressman Schiff's point went right over Congressmen Gowdy's head.

His point was that a prosecutions have a defined point/goal, where as this committee does not.

As Gowdy just corrected Schiff, this is not a prosecution.

Clinton on Benghazi: Christopher Stevens was responsible for own security - Washington Times

I am beginning to doubt there is a God. Why you ask? If any human being in the history of this planet deserves to be struck down as evil its Hillary. Yet, the lies and deciet just continue to flow from her mouth.
