Gowdy showed email proof that Clinton lied and blamed the Benghazi attack on a video. Four American lost their lives under her watch. The fact that she lied, when she new the truth, proves that she is unfit to be the POTUS.
It's not so much a commentary on Clinton as it is on the current iteration of the Republican party who never met an investigation--or NINE--that they didn't love when it involves politically going after their opponents.
If the Clintons could follow the rules that most of us do in life, they might not come under the scrutiny that they do.

Yes, and it was worth $75 million to catch Clinton in a lie about an affair, right? You sure are free and easy with taxpayer money as long as it's put towards bringing down political opponents.
There was a motion made and seconded that the transcript get released and he simply gaveled the hearing closed to avoid dealing with it. In that moment, Gowdy looked like exactly what he is--a partisan hack.
Before gaveling it, he said "We'll take that up in a business meeting in two weeks, after we get back."
Yes, that exchange will haunt him for a long while to come.

I am not able to watch these hearings, due to work, and I am no fan of Hillary Rodham Clinton, but I will say this: in my opinion, if this committee 'strikes out', again, it markedly improves her chances of being (shudder) President.
Like many other reasonable people, I dislike politically motivated 'witch hunts' regardless of party. If many of the 'undecided' voters, come November 2016 (which is still a long way off) decide that the Republicans were indeed engaging in such behavior, then they may well go for Hillary Rodham Clinton, if for no other reason than the show their dislike for Republican behavior.
However! On the bright side, November 2016 is still a long way off. Many people will forget these hearings by then, even if they conclude that they were politically motivated. Plus, it is still plenty of time for Hillary Rodham Clinton to engage in other High Crimes and Misdemeanors, or for something of more substance to 'turn up' from her past. Given what I believe is her character, I would not be surprised if she engages in the former.
