That is the total MO of the extremist far right. If they don't like it, they simply refuse to believe it. They ignore facts and rationalize. This is why they are always unhappy. You cannot make any progress politically, or otherwise, if you choose to live in an alternate reality.

All the same National, thereby proving the argument against Makhno75's insipid, bashful, chastened-leftist boilerplate.

Excuse me, but you started the ball rolling (post #76.)

And you were incorrect. When the disaffected German socialist crazies adopted the term "national socialist", it did not mean "national" in the same sense as any of the other groups that anyone has mentioned ("of or pertaining to a nation"). It was a conscious separation from the older Marxist principle of internationalism (q.v. the First, Second and Third International Workingmen's Associations.)

Internationalism had pretty much died in 1914, of course, but the Nazi founders wished to deliberately dance on its grave; hence their choice of terminology.

Thank you for admitting that the National Abortion Rights Action League, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, National Organization for Women, Democratic National Committee, African National Congress, National Association of Social Workers, National League of Cities, are nationalists.

When you put "Socialist" and "Workers" on the same shingle, as the NSDAP did--I have advice for you: you're not going to attract anything but progressive leftists.

And, in a page from the same book, you and the rest of the left are now trying to disavow another generation of progressive leftist after he became unpopular with the public.

How will you adopt your political strategy to respond to this? I am legitimately curious, because I can't help but wonder how you intend to make your ideas and policies survive if they have created so much hatred that it results in the political rise of literal nazis rather than just right-wingers that you try to degrade by merely calling them that.
Not to mention in the United States the rise of Neomasculinity. The times, they are a-changin'.

Except that I didn't. I said exactly the opposite.

The Socialist German Workers Party (gosh, who joins a "Workers Party"?) said they're National just like the National Organization for Women does.

Much as it tries, the progressive can't squirm out of that, can't brush off those cooties onto an innocent bystander. ("Nationalist"? How about "Damage Controlist." No stranger to word invention, it also coined "Dominionist," which also exists nowhere else in nature.) Because it's too busy attempting to use the same playbook to disavow their now-unpopular current choice.
