what is the fascination with blaming inanimate objects?

when someone is killed, LITERALLY using anything else but a gun, the murderer is blamed.

There are millions and millions and MILLIONS of law abiding citizens who have guns (MANY) and even more rounds of ammo, and have never killed anyone.

What's the obsession with collective punishment by wanting them all to be stripped of their rights and making them feel like criminals just for having the audacity to exercise their rights??!

Enough already!

Libs champion the argument about not judging an entire group based on some, but excel at doing this themselves.

No, because we know that the guy could have killed Cecil with a knife, or a baseball bat or a rock. Or perhaps he could have drowned Cecil in a swimming pool.

I didn't really give a fiddler's [copulation] about Cecil the Lion.

But since you bring it up, it's far from unthinkable that different laws restricting, say, international transport of small arms might've led to a different result.

Having some restrictions placed on firearms is no more about "judging" firearms owners than having a speed limit is about "judging" drivers.

No, I blame the dentist with a tiny penis....so do you blame ALL dentists with tiny penises because one of them poached a lion and has basically gotten away with it?

there already are many, many restrictions placed on ownership of firearms. Do the critics of guns know what goes into the process of buying one? Do they know that local laws are a factor.

did any of you blame the AK47's on Nov 13th?

Do you blame everyone who is the same race or religion as the shooter? If you do, then you have the answer to your own question.

Did anyone blame the gun when Cecil the lion was killed?

I predict this question will be inconvenient for some, and possibly insult is headed your way.

Edit: Opps I was right. Someone already talking about his tiny gentiles.

yes. I say every Muslim is to blame and should be charged with murder when there's an Islamic terrorist attack.

How many restrictions there are or aren't is not the point. The point is that it has nothing at all to do with "judging" anyone.

Most gun owners are not NRA members, and even most NRA members support background checks and such.

Those on the Left have a hard time assigning blame where it truly belongs. Just witness the contortions the media went through this morning trying to ignore the Islamic elephant in the room. Utterly ridiculous.
