They are part and parcel of the Bundy faction.

As this plays out, it appears that they are likely pied pipers to the honeypot out in the middle of nowhere, in the a snowstorm, and poorly provisioned, which has conveniently isolated the most violence prone of potential insurrectionists into a self cleaning oven far from noncombatants.

In case I overlooked it... As winter sets in.
Followed Santilli during the OAS stuff a while back and observed his meltdowns. Crazy scary good fun.

According to this article, there are probably well fewer than 100, much less 150 "occupiers" with the Bundy faction at Malheur

Oregon militia threatens showdown with US agents at wildlife refuge | US news | The Guardian

The new "Patriot" Capital is accessible only by a 60 mile long stretch of ice covered road. As winter sets in.

I'm wondering if he gets paid by the head for each unstable, armed malcontent he can lure up that long icy road.

Ritzheimer -- infamous for his 'draw Muhammed contest' -- is my latest personal "favorite" since he just came out with a quiver in the throat, carefully studied 'thousand yard stare' farewell video to his family as he set off to Malheur. "Let it not be in vain!" he not quite sobbed.

But I digress. These two belong in the Psychology Forum under discussion of Narcissism.

Yet and still, they are part and parcel of this Maheur tragi-comedy.

Comparing this situation to the "trigger-happy" actions of individual police actions is completely irrelevant. The police in the Rice tragedy were acting in what they perceived to be a possible and IMMEDIATE life or death situation; the situation is Oregon is completely different.

Yes, the killing of ANY innocent person is a tragedy, and the people responsible should be prosecuted and punished accordingly, but the fact that the authorities in Oregon are adopting a cautious and "wait and see" approach is to be commended.

Please stop trying to turn this into a race issue. It most definitely is NOT.

My comment was within the context of the time served. 5 years for their crime vs 17 months (time served) for being an accomplice to the boston bombing is outrageous. I agree with those calling for CJ reform.

A local Oregon reporter got a pic of the Malheur supply room stockpile.

Before anybody clicks the link -- I too, expected some huge and well organized stock of provisions, comm gear, and an arsenal.

Has anyone seen a picture of these people occupying the building yet? Why are there no pictures of this?

We can leave any talk of possible racist sentiments among the "militia" members for another thread.

UNsubstantuated tweet, indicative, perhaps of rumor and hysteria:

I just heard on a #Livestream clip that "#FBI are coming" & "#NationalGuard are activated" RE #OregonUnderAttack #BundyMilitia occupation!
