Suurrrrrre you did.

Speaking of Assumptions:

One does not have to be a gun dealer to be an FFL. An FFL can be at someone's home like my buddy who isn't a dealer, all he does is private party xfers. To be an FFL without a storefront all you need is a safe storage area.

I buy all my reloading equipment online. Why would I be chumming up to someone who works at Turners. That's kind of creeper-ish actually.

You don't sound like a gun owner at all.

The following article explains pretty nicely why all the stupidity on both sides surrounding Obama's executive actions. Gun control advocates celebrate victory they didn't get, and gun activists froth at the mouth over something Obama didn't actually do....

A Political Scientist Explains Reactions to Obama

I normally reference my home State. Private party sales are supposed to use an FFL but most don't because there is pretty much no chance of being caught doing it.

Actually your bizarre preoccupation with trying to prove that I don't own guns, or know anything about California gun laws is a tad "creeperish" but I will let it go at that

I have never heard of that, is that just California? Haven't seen that in Missouri. Not doubting you, but can you post a link?

What is the process for purchasing a firearm in California?
Generally, all firearms purchases and transfers, including private party transactions and sales at gun shows,
must be made through a California licensed dealer under the Dealer’s Record of Sale (DROS) process.
California law imposes a 10-day waiting period before a firearm can be released to a purchaser or transferee.

Anyway, a complete waste of time and money.

Fine, just know this. I know weapons and weapons law.

Because I have to or I'll be a felon in CA.

I'm glad that Missouri doesn't compromise the 2nd.

You should be. The goal of the left is to emulate CA gun laws one State at a time. Hopefully, by the time the NRA and the Calguns foundation have beaten back these unconstitutional laws, no other State will be hindered by them.

State gun regulation will not make it through the Missouri legislature.

I think Obama's orders are simply ideological. Not much is going to change on the ground besides a little stricter background check.
