Here we go again with the manhood insults. Quite sad and predictable. I hope you never complain that gun owners don't want to have a conversation about more laws.

Those are the key takeaways of what Obama is actually doing, per Igor Volsky at Think Progress.

The Obama is going on another one of his inFamous tours around the USA with a new Proclamation:

IF you like your GUNS, you can keep your GUNS!

Obama rolls out gun control strategy
As the president wades into the culture war over guns, he is planning a series of events aimed at containing the political fallout. |Politico

Doctors are supposed to violate patient's privacy and report GUNS. This isn't about "loopholes" in Law, this is about private Gun Sales. You can be considered (at their total discretion) a "Gun seller" if you sell even ONE gun to an individual. You would need to register as a GUN seller and pay for a license to sell. MONEY for the TAX & SPENDERS.

An individual, Jarrett said, “can sell as few as two firearms or make only one or two transactions and be ‘engaged in the business.’”

Paul Ryan said in a statement Monday that Obama is "at minimum subverting the legislative branch, and potentially overturning its will."

"His proposals to restrict gun rights were debated by the United States Senate, and they were rejected," the speaker said, in reference to the failed push for more gun laws in the wake of the 2012 Newtown shooting. "No president should be able to reverse legislative failure by executive fiat, not even incrementally. The American people deserve a president who will respect their constitutional rights — all of them. This is a dangerous level of executive overreach, and the country will not stand for it."

The most important thing about The Obama's latest power grab is that the US Attorney General, Loretta Lynch has apparently signed off on it. She is exactly like the corrupt Eric Holder. Remember that.

On the UP side -- he will have to dip into the DOJ Slush Fund to finance his Proclamation. Congress won't fund what they didn't even vote for ..... AND it won't matter anyway. The Obama will soon be gone - he is just attempting to find some relevancy in his Sad and Disastrous Tenure.

Still in search of his Grand Legacy, will he digs his hole in the ground deeper.

He hasn't done anything yet, this is just preemptive whining.

If Obama wants to reduce gun sales, maybe he should just shut up.
I agree you just can't help the chronically stupid, they will run to the gun store anytime anybody suggests gun control.

You just can't fix stupid.

BTW they are still the ones hoarding 22's.

None of that sounds particularly onerous or will affect the ability of qualified persons to purchase and own firearms (other than the 230 new people to process checks which would speed up the process). By the same token, it is not going to do anything to reduce gun violence. This is nothing but politics - a little window dressing for the American people who want tougher background checks and yet another dog whistle for Republicans. Dems will call it meaningful gun control while Reps will decry it as a gun grab. Neither is true. It is just another distraction from the important challenges we face.

I'm not an NRA member BOB, but this thread isn't about the NRA BOB. It's about presidential overreach of authority with regards to the 2nd amendment. You seem to be obsessed with the manhood of other men. Me thinks ye complains too much...

Does President Obama have an unusual interpretation of the executive powers of the Presidency? Let's look at the record.

The most famous executive order may be Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation.

Still, President Obama seems to be issuing a LOT of Executive Orders, right? Have other Presidents issued so many executive orders? Let's look at the record.

Impressive stats all. You gloss over the part where Obama's Executive Orders have mostly been in defiance of Congress and the American people.
On this thread's topic the proof is record-breaking gun stats. 8.5 million gun sales with background checks in the US in 2015.

A whole 200 additional ATF agents in a country of 360,000,000+ people....Oh yeah, that will make a huge impact. What an idiot we have in the Oval Office.
