The purpose of the 2nd Amendment in the US, given we are a nation born out of a violent revolution secured through firearms, is to permit citizens to use firearms as a means of final resort to deal with a tyranical government.
Europe has been, for the most part, disarmed. I wonder if the citizens of Europe, given the massive influx of Muslims foiseted upon them by thier "leaders" (despite thier objections), now wish they had firearms?
Tyrants love to disarm nations (see Hitler, Stalin, Castro, Pol Pot, Mao), thus preventing citizens from ultimately rising against them.
Perhaps there will be an increase in the appreciation for the Amercian 2nd amendment in Europe and a realization that an armed nation is the only thing that liberal politicians actually fear.

Europeans feel that being disarmed against an unlikely govt tyranny or widespread civil unrest is preferable to dealing with a likely dramatic rise in homicides from everyone having a gun. As bad as the refugee situation is they still have almost no homicides while the USA has 30,000 per year.
Europeans don't want guns, and they are more than happy with their decision. Huge amounts of guns in Europe would create more problems than it solves, but of course gun fetishists will refuse to believe otherwise

Could you imagine if guns were as available and accessible in Europe as they are in America? Could you imagine the FEAR people would be living in if all these Muslim immigrants had access to firearms? Could you imagine the number of CRIMES that would INCREASE if people were running around and sticking a gun in your face?
No, trust me, I'm pretty sure I'm correct in saying Europeans are GLAD they don't have a 18th century law on their books that leads to over 10,000 deaths per year in this country, to say nothing of mass shootings of people.
Thing is, you can't convince some redneck living in Jerkwater, Idaho that sensible gun legislation saves lives and takes guns out of the hands of bad people.
Proving that you still haven't learned a single thing about guns, gun laws, gun shows or where criminals get their guns. Admit it, you've never bought a gun, never been to a gun show never even held a gun, it's obvious. You're so blinded by your bias and prejudiced you won't even acknowledge that you don't know anything about firearms.
