This post is clearly a case of age discrimination. Perhaps the OP would like to also pick the race and religion.

Liberal logic.
Hillary was born October 1947 - she'll be 69 on election day. She's not perfect, but she is the best choice - IMO - this election cycle.

Maybe late sixties should be the oldest. With eight years in office, they may be as old as 77. I know I was more bright at age 60 than now.

Think Donald Trump is already 69, i do believe he is a bit older than Hillary Clinton. Bernie Sanders, at 75, seems too old to me, he could have a big stroke in office. Rubio will be 45 but he seems too dumb, and he is extremist in the abortion issue. Ted Cruz, he will be 45, yet he seems to have no plans to oversee a good healthcare plan, and he seems too extreme about the old ethos.

I do not know way it is? All these candidates seem either at the older end, or too extreme.

I brought this up because Age was a big issue in 2000 and was curious how people think about it with the upcoming election but if you are baiting me

I think there is a presidential age thread? For the record, I would say being much older than 70 is too old.

I notice some Hillary supporters (including some in the press) use Sanders' age as a factor. Isn't Sanders only 6 years older than Hillary? That's not a big age difference.

There are some sharp 90 year olds. Milton Friedman was sharp to the end. I believe Thomas Sowell is 80.

We should take it on a case by case basis. As a general rule I don't like to see presidential candidates in their early-mid 40's, or those who are in their mid-60's or older. The younger ones, like Rubio and Obama, because they don't have enough experience yet and they think it's all about them. The older ones because they are too far removed in most cases from what life is like for those in their 20's and 30's, and they end up wanting to dictate rather than having any concern how their decisions affect people across the country.

Their are exceptions. Ted Cruz is about Rubio's age but has far more knowledge and experience, and has the potential to be a very good president. Duncan Hunter, Sr. had to of been in his mid-late 60's at least, during the 2008 primary season when he ran for president, and he was my candidate. The Republican party and the country lost a great opportunity by not supporting him. Would have saved us from the disastrous last 7 years if Hunter had been elected.

I do keep age in mind when selecting my candidate to vote for, but keep an open mind because there are exceptions.

I wouldn't vote for Hillary or Sanders, but not because of age. And I wouldn't vote for Trump, but not because of age. I'm not sure age would slow any of them down, except for maybe Hillary. She looks tired to me, and she looked that way before she started her campaign.
