If it serves to preserve the Constitution, I'm good with that. Obama should be doing the same, but many of us are well-aware of how Obama has violated his Oath of Office...

"I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

What do we call appointing one that argued for the ACA before the Court, then being appointed to it and ruling on same?

It's a shame that you are so misguided from reality. My suggestion is to do your own research and don't just believe everything you hear from the peanut gallery.
" I am a constitutional lawyer."

No insult intended, I'm sure you know your stuff but, as we have seen with Obama and his admin, being a Constitutional lawyer doesn't carry much weight anymore.

Obama's nominee should be seated or the Democrats should do everything in their power to block each and every nominee put forth from 2017-2021 if a Republican is in the White House during that time period.

Kagan, the unethical SCOTUS Judge.

No, they shouldn't. I would not want to see the Democrats resort to the childish and petty politics practiced by the current GOP.

If the Congress refuses to do their duty, they will in effect prevent the full function of all three branches of government.
I don't think I read the same sentiment from you when reid blocked over 300 bills.

Or when reid REUSED to offer a budget, much less submit one, reid, "A budget, we don't NEED a budget".

If you are going to take a position, at least be consistent.

I don't see a delay working, there are too many important issues to wait that long. Some would rather see a dysfunctional government than allow an Obama appointment. If they take that route the house, senate and president will all be democratic come November.

It would be quite a bit longer than a year, new president in January 2017, choose an appointee and then the vetting.

When are Muslims going to be given a shot at the court?

Now is the perfect opportunity.
