They mean a heck of a lot. They influence what political leaders do and they give us an idea of which way the winds are blowing heading into the midterm elections.

As of September 6....53.9 percent disapprove.

That is an average of all the polls -- which is a little more conservative than just picking one poll.

WOW.

And yeah -- polls aren't the end all and be all -- but we all use polls -- even Trump -- to support our arguments.

Are you fine if a civil war breaks out?

My take is yes...they will. What is yours??

Nope, "the Polls'" had Clinton up over 4 points in Wisky & Penn and outside the margin of error. Every poll had Clinton winning the EC by a huge margin, is that what happened on election day?

Where in the world are Trump supporters getting the idea that he us somehow solely responsible for the current state of the economy when every strong metric regarding the economy significantly predates his time in office? Do they honestly believe that there was some huge economic turnaround when he was elected?

Actually they do! They fully believe the our economy was in ruins until January 2017 and then all of a sudden it was fantastic when Trump was sworn in. Comical isn't it.

Actually, you are cherry picking. As you can see from my original link, I only look at Nate because they use all the polls together plus some fancy math.

He had Hillary as an easy win (90%, but even that allows plenty of other chances) UNTIL the Comey letter, at which it headed down and was something like 68% by election day. Also, he had Hillary winning the voting totals.

All in all he was very close.....you can't put stock in polling from any single source and you sure can't when an october surprise happened.

No one is perfect, but 538 had gotten almost 100% of the Senate Elections correct in former years.

Yes, things can fall outside the odds, but give credit where it is due. As we stand right now, the 538 stuff is likely close. That's not saying where it will be on election day.

They also believed the ONE single issue was balancing the budget. That one went under the bus instantly.

In short, they love to "forget" what they ran on....preferring to just obtain power by hook or by crook and then do exactly as they please.

If the left come up with something better, I'll listen, but to date your incessant daily whining is just annoying. If you think you're proving a point, you are sadly mistaken.
Positives in.life are occuring for those mentioned above. Trump Business buddies who once again demonstrated there is no such thing as " trickle down"

How about we try "trickle up"?
Give the wage earner back his wages and we will choose which businesses , stay in business.
Give the wage earner back his wages and we will take care of out of control medical costs within the year.
To be fair, everyone pays 10 percent flat federal and 10 percent flat state taxes....and we will eventually create a country with the most wealthy populus in the world.

A brave candidate who d do this , would really drain the swamp.
They would get every single wage earners vote.
Hands down!!!
