Think of it this way: We're all on a ship, and the captain that a bit under half the mob has elected in a strange form of mutiny against sanity is stark raving mad, stupid, and evil - Trump. So, he's running the ship in a horrible way, we're heading into an iceberg, and he's replaced the competent officers with fellow idiots. Progressives are very "obsessed" about this since they are stuck on this ship. Can you really blame them?
Meanwhile, the righties are cheering on the approaching iceberg as "the novel approach we need to government," and busy obsessing about some old woman down in steerage - aka Clinton.
It should be obvious at this point which party is the sane one in this parable.
Following your analogy we've just come off the last 8 years on the Titanic that's been piloted almost to it's doom by Capt Queeg!
Is the budget balanced? That was going to be easy according to Don.
How about health care - better, cheaper and for everyone?
Have immigration numbers to the south changed (no)?
Is the Wall Built with Mexico paying? (no)
Has the Swamp been drained - honest good people in Government?
Is the national debt being paid back?
Are all our foreign adventures over now that we've won?
Is NK our friend now?
Is the forgotten man better off (wage grown is zero when inflation and COL is figured in)?
Is coal back (no)?
Now - granted - if you knew he was lying when he claimed all this and more...then, no, you haven't been had. In that case you got exactly what you paid for and more....
Did we get to keep our doctors?
Did we get $1500 trimmed from our healthcare costs?
Did we get to keep our insurance?
Is GITMO closed?
Are we out of the Middle East?
There's just a few of the last incompetent resident of the White House's promises.
Fair and balanced...
Actually they do! They fully believe the our economy was in ruins until January 2017 and then all of a sudden it was fantastic when Trump was sworn in. Comical isn't it.
The economy wasn't in ruins but it was the weakest recovery since the 1940s. Now it looks like the economy is growing at a faster rate. A good thing for everyone except the leftists.

Wrong ,looking at where it was when Bush left Office .............it was the start of the best and longest in this country's history.

Looks like -- either it is or isn't -- you do understand that right?
And it isn't growing at a faster rate at all.
You have no numbers just feelings -- and well -- you can't argue with feelings for sure.
No, they are NOT. The pollsters ask questions in specific ways to get the answers they want. Also, the population that is polled is rigged to get the answers they want. Look at all of the last Presidential polls. ALL WRONG
You have just educated me how little you know about statistics and polls. I will remember that the next time you attempt to comment on them.
Nope, "the Polls'" had Clinton up over 4 points in Wisky & Penn and outside the margin of error. Every poll had Clinton winning the EC by a huge margin, is that what happened on election day?
It was 100%.
There was no way she was going to win. She said so herself.
Consider this:
California has 18 million registered voters. 8.7 million of them voted for Hillary.
She could have got all 18 million and still lost.
That's why popular vote doesn't count.
Modern scientific polls are actually very accurate
Yes, this is definitely true.
