The Midwest state with the highest Trump approval is SD at +6%. Heck, even my own state of Missouri, which carried Trump by over 18 percentage points, is now at -2 for Trump.

At this point, I don't think anyone learned anything from 2016, on either side. Polls have become another tool used to get a predetermined result.

No one takes Rasmussen seriously. Before the midterms Rasmussen was the only poll that had Republicans with a one point advantage, other polls ended up being far closer to the actual vote which was 8.6%, that's nearly a 10 point error.

In my own state of Missouri, for example, he won by 18.5% in 2016. He is now at -2%.

Even in Utah he is at -6%! Utah! And in solid-red Nebraska he is dead even.
