What is the purpose of a poll anyway? What exactly am I supposed to do with the data?

Obama on this day in 2011, 50%.

SOTU speech must have been the actual beach slap we thought it was.

Was Obama's SOTU just a week before this date in 2011?

No.

Politically dishonest NeverTrumpers just make up whatever is handy.
Last year Trump's numbers were 49% after SOTU speech just like they were before the speech.

Was it fake when it reported 43% a few weeks ago?

Trumps 52% Approval Jolts Washington
Jolts Washington

Maybe there was no "jolt" because his rating is below 40%.

Yeah, we are all jolted.

The spread is only 14.6 points now instead of the peak at 16 during the shutdown. Of course, the spread was "only" 10 points before the shutdown...
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com...ex_cid=rrpromo

Early December - 9.5 to 10.5% spread (disapprove over approve).
Now - 14.6 or so.

In other words, Trump lost a serious 4% plus....which "only" equates to about 10 million adults.
The first table on that page below is Obama. The two have never touched.....that is, Obama was more popular every single day of his first 2 years.

Of course, if we listen to fake news.....Trumpies were telling us Obama was the least popular and worst POTUS every for most of those 8 years. Therefore, according to them, even if Trump were to "win" over Obama it wouldn't mean anything except Trump being the 2nd worst ever.

Can't have cake and eat it too!

I agree, polls are largely meaningless this early on.

Brrrrrrrrp! More made-up reporting by the Dems.
Fact: Rasmussen forecast 232 to 209, favor of Dems.
