I agree. It's the same as refusing to bake a cake for somebody. Any business should be able to choose when, where and who they do business with.

Now, go tell that to the liberals attacking the baker.

Well, at least there's one place where people won't have to listen to his crappy music and stupid lyrics and look at his ugly face.

Sinatra he is not.

He never was relevant, except to people with bad taste.

There's a huge difference between refusing to serve an individual and refusing to serve an entire protected class. One scenario is legal, the other is illegal.

Kicking a black guy out of a store for being drunk and unruly is entirely different than refusing service to all blacks.

If this is "a liberal thing", I completely understand that part of their mindset. They're right.

So would a Catholic priest who was asked to officiate at a Satanic wedding be wrong for refusing?

After all, Satanism is a religion, and religion is a "protected class"....

That would be just as illegal. Although I'm having a hard time imagining a Satanist couple wanting a Catholic ceremony (would that be with full mass too?). Not to mention all of the pre-ceremony requirements like Natural Family Planning classes, Baptism, etc. The Satanists would really want to go through all that?

If I'm a small business owner, I can legally refuse to do business with someone that's gay if they're a total dingus. I can't legally refuse service to all gays, or blacks, or Jews, or disabled vets, etc.
You do understand that there's a difference between refusing to do business with someone because they're gay and refusing to make a cake for a gay wedding , right?

If a gay man came in and ordered a birthday cake for his boyfriend and the baker happily makes it for him, but then the same baker declines to make them a wedding cake when they decide to tie the knot, is he discriminating against gay people or just following his religious belifes?

If the baker will sell a gay person a tray of cupcakes but not a gay wedding cake, they are not refusing to do business with gay people. They are refusing to participate in a gay wedding.

In the eyes of the law, if there is a different menu based off one of the protected classes, it's illegal discrimination.

Oh, here's your "blacks only" bakery menu. It just has less services than the "whites menu".

The problem is, there should be no such thing as a "protected class"

We are all humans and we all have the right to discriminate against anything we wish to. It is called individual freedom.

Like a hospital refusing treatment to a black gun owner? No thank you, that's not the kind of ideals America was founded on.
