I never knew there was such a thing until that DeBlazio/Clinton skit a couple of weeks ago. The Mayor referred to CP time which, it turns out, is an 'hood abbreviation for Colored People time. i.e., being late for work. She got in some trouble for this but they swept it under rug pretty quick.
I guess I am "extra privlaged" because I have a bad habit of being 10 minutes early. I don't even wear a watch but I seem to just have a habit of leaving enough time to get somewhere.
Can someone translate this into English so those of us educated white folk can understand what the ghetto class have a beef with now? Better yet, can someone explain why we should care???

That the constructs of being on time and making good grades are, by their very nature, symbols of racism.
So now if your on time its white privilege. Its white supremacy to be on time now. Liberals have lost their frigging minds. They are trying so hard to not blame the problem the black culture that they are doing anything no matter how crazy to make excuses for black culture rot.
We have seen being late the routine for obama media events.
Demonstates total disrespect for those waiting for you.

In fairness to President Obama it should be noted that, while he was in office, President Clinton was also punctuality challenged. I don't know about now.
I never have much issue with being on time...be there 5-10 minutes early, and there ya go. Maybe it's my PA German upbringing tho'
You make it sound so easy.
For me, being on time involves alarms, lots of rushing around, swearing, tripping over furniture, more alarms, shoving my spouse out the way, banging on the door for whoever's in the toilet to GTFO NOW, more swearing, panicking about something I can't find that I need, more alarms, more swearing, sprinting out the door, sprinting like a track star to the train station, and then swearing internally and hating the world deeply when I inevitably miss the train or it's delayed by 20 minutes anyway.
= heart rate and blood pressure off the charts. My spouse knows I turn into a complete psycho when getting ready to be somewhere, and that it's nothing personal (he's amused, if anything). Lol. Being on time is just damn hard.
All you naturally punctual people, I must know thy secrets!
