In actuality, there is no example of Clinton having perjured himself, just as there is no example of Al Gore claiming to have invented the internet. These are inventions of the right-wing disinformation media that have gained currency only through repetition.

And yes, it's p-e-r-j-u-r-y. Purgery I think might have something to do with bulimia...

That being the case - why was his license to practice law suspended?

No, just angry enough to give the liberals a rest.

Sarozky? If you meant Nicolas Sarkozy, now husband of former supermodel Carla Bruni and also President of France, his election was essentially a vote of no confidence in the sometimes flighty Sego Royale.

Huh? Chavez was elected President of Venezuela in 2006 with 63% of the vote in elections that (unlike Bush's) were certified by the OAS, the Carter Center, and other international observers. His term runs through 2012.

For violation of his professional oath as a lawyer and officer of the court always to pursue the truth. This amounts to censure by a professional organization. The obligation of a defendant in a civil trial is to present a defense. No such defendant is obligated in any way to assist plaintiff's counsel in obtaining a verdict against him- or herself. Perjury is a criminal charge for which there is an explicit definition. There is no example of Clinton's having met that definition. Absent being handed another blank check by Richard Mellon Scaife to go after Clinton on such charges, there is not a prosecutor in the country who would have wanted to bring such a case.

Since we're on the topic of Hugo Chavez and whether he'll step down, what are the odds of some "wartime national security" shenanigans by this administration to keep W. president indefinitely?

Bush and Chavez, with their shared penchant for secrecy, should try to get along better. They have things in common.

You don't read a damn thing posted here, do you?
In a fascist government, you don't vote against the fascist and win(or live really...). Bush lost his "majority" in 2006. If Bush is this great fascist, why are you even here posting bad **** about him? Shouldn't you be in the Black Helicopters by now?

If you listen to most of the left wing around here, the election of anyone right of Trosky is a affront to democracy and human rights. Just trying to prove that reputable democracy =! leftist wins. Get over it people.

There are more have-nots than haves in the world, so yes, if you ever have a truly pure democracy the have-nots are going to beat the haves in the popular vote more often than not.

That's where the hanging chads and voting machines on the fritz and other funny stuff come in...
