Appropriations for the Navy don't appear to be so limited. It also just says "appropriation" for the Army. Congress "appropriates" money on an annual basis. It doesn't restrict, as far as I can see, Congress' ability to commit to obligations of more than two years.

Washington had no use for the state militias.

That it does.

I'll take your word for that.

Everyone knows the lawmakers meaning for us to gather the meaning of the Constitution from what Washington had no use for. James Madison wrote that in his famous letter to the Mormons in Danbury Egypt.

Cons may ***** against abortion, but abortion is legal in all 50 states.

The leftists have deprived us from democracy in the justice system,by prohibiting the death penalty in 14 states & trying to render it ineffective in another 20 states. While the people,in all 50 states want it. The democratic way is to have a mixed system, with capital penalty on & active in all 50 states.

Same goes for guns. There is total ban in D.C,NY,Chicago, practically in SF. Completely undemocratic.

The leftists want to penalize SUVs,we don't want to penalize their Donald Duck "cars " & bicycles...

They continiously propose new taxes & increase of taxation, against the will of the people.

It is a lie that the left is about freedom, not sure where people came to associate the left with freedom....

I certainly cannot believe the left itself perpetuated this lie...

Yeah after all it was the left who locked up American citizens, held them without access to counsel or charges for years. It was the left who started wiretapping American citizens in secret, in violation of existing law. It was the left who runs secret torture chambers in Cuba and various different "friendly" countries like Syria. It was the left who gave the FBI free reign to tap into private banking records of American citizens without court orders. Oh wait all this was done by the Republicans.

And he was outvoted. He was also a professional soldier. Nobodies perfect & that was one of his flaws. However he would never have wanted the people disarmed as a crime fighting measure.
