As a mother who has punished my kids.......I don't think anything remotely close EVER came out of my mouth! This does not warrant what was done, but why would a mother say this, this culture is sick!

Remember when Iraq invaded Kuwait and we were subjected to hours of senate testimony from "ordinary" Kuwaiti citizens of wide scale rape and baby killing? Then also recall how none of it was true? You should be skeptical of everything you read online including this thread. There are so many so called "articles" online that are nothing but click bait and junk. Many online "news sources" are nothing more than cheap tabloid knock offs, and this is particularly true in the UK. Professional journalism is fading quickly from our world. Middle-aged Mom certainly did not rush to any kind of defense of this supposed act. See how your words twisted what she said? Of course, if this happened, it's completely disgusting and a horrific act. But please, be smart and consider the source and read carefully.
