Any grassroots movement like this is ripe for exploitation by people who want an excuse for violence. I helped organize several protests is college for very different causes. The one constant was that there was always a fringe group that showed up to help and really just wanted an excuse to get violent.
I remember one peace rally where we spent a significant amount of time trying to get rid of another group that showed up to help at an organizational meeting and spent a good 30 minutes repeatedly asking questions about the circumstances under which we'd be OK with them using violence against the police. (The answer was 'none', by the way.)

I find this explanation to be the most likely.
I'm white, I have absolutely zero connection to BLM in any way, shape or form. If I go out and rob someone while shouting "Black Lives Matter!" is that and indictment of the group or the movement?
The obvious answer is "no". Let's get some more facts on what actually happened in this case.
The real problem is people who take random anecdotes (without any sort of context) and use them to make sweeping generalizations like you and your ilk.
OK, that a least stays with the theme of turning the tables on uncool whites who object to being assaulted by blacks. I'll give you a few more hipster bonus points for that, but it's definitely a weaker play than your previous post.

Its the raison d'être for black lives matter. So you must be talking about BLM since their entire movement was created by a few hand picked news stories. Right?
Is it me, or does it seem like "Black Lives Matter" is becoming the new "Allahu Akbar"?
Black Lives Akbar!!!
