I bet I know why the OP is not a republican, and when I glanced at his location he listed my suspicions were confirmed. He works in DC and is probably a benefactor in a federal agency that just might not exist, or be scaled back if more small government conservatives were in power.

We found you out. . Maybe.

The same is true of Clinton, but that doesn't stop Trump supporters from throwing out all sorts of crazy scenarios intended to scare voters.

Yeah I assumed he might work for the public sector or government too. He might even be one of those special whites more important than regular.

Not true with Clinton.

Clinton promised to nominate liberal hacks into the Supreme Court. Her judges may very well rule that interning Chinese American during the war is perfectly constitutional.

On the other hand, Trump promised to nominate judges who will follow the constitution.

Hillary said many times that she will forgo the due process while Trump said the opposite.

Seriously though what's up with special whites trying to one up each other on who loves diversity more?

Many of my friends fit the same bill, as do I. A few of my usually Republican friends are either voting for Clinton, 3rd party, or aren't voting because they think Trump is an abomination...but I'm from suburban Long Island, not the south or midwest.

It's probably virtue signaling but probably a strategy to use diversity as a shield and sword, so not virtuous at all.

The key word here is nominate. The nominated justice still has to confirmed by the Senate before appointment, and that can be a difficult process. You'll notice that we still don't have a replacement for Justice Scalia, and he died nine months ago.

You are correct on the nomination process; however, historically, the senate hasn't been a good gatekeeper on Supreme Court nominees.
