You do realize she had a 3.xx million vote lead in California alone so to only 2 mil over the rest of the country is not very good. give it a rest.
No, we won't. People who live in California are just as good as me or you.
Hillary won this election by 2 million votes and we will never ever shut up about it just to make you feel better.
I repeat: Hillary won by 2 million. The whole world knows it. The whole world sees that America is not a beacon of democracy. We have elected presidents who did not win the popular vote twice in sixteen years. That is an embarrassment.
The people wanted Hillary. Whether they were Californian or not, they are still people.
She won by two million. You deal with it and give it a rest
People are scared to be outed as Trump voters.
I know some 'undercover' trump supporters in my social circle who just want to avoid being labelled a racist or sexist so they say out loud that they voted for Hillary but in reality they voted for Trump. All these media polls & statistics have proved to be fake & made up so I dont believe anything they say. I talk to people around me & read through the public forums to get a gist of peoples' opinions & views. Even the protestors are hired help & a lot of them didnt even bother to vote. So I dont trust this so called invisible half of the country hating Trump. If he does a good job we will keep him, if not, we will switch our votes next elections & kick him out. Give him a fair chance for now.
Sure we will, just like Republicans gave Obama a fair chance.
a.the democrat candidate was a career criminal
b. the deomocrat candidate supported the ultra wealthy elites and illegals over the middle class
c. the democrate candidate supported trade policies harmful to the middle class
d. the democrat candidate viewed "public service" as a means to gain personal wealth
e. the democrat candidate was a very volatile, violent person in private
f. the democrat candidate was a pathological liar
g. the democrat candiate sought open borders
This is all based on embellishment and unsubstantiated allegation, a strategy cooked up by the Trump campaign to deflect his total lack of experience in the political game ,just bash Hillary with any accusation and Trump supporters will believe it,the strategy obviously worked as it fooled enough people to get him the presidency.Well played Mr Trump.
I'm actually banking on his ego. The sense of achievement doesn't stop because you made POTUS....now you need a good legacy. Nobody wants to go down in history as a terrible president. Trump's entire brand is now at stake here.
If he fails as president, it's quite possible it would actually cost him financially as well.
Not to mention he's spend millions of his own money to get here in the first place.
Different people will have different opinions on what constitutes a success.
First of all, this was never a contest between two candidates.
Five party-backed tickets appeared on the ballots in all fifty states.
And the percentage of the vote that went to other candidates (5.4%) was more than three times the 1.6% difference between Clinton and Trump.
Also, Clinton has more support in the popular vote than Trump because she had two to one and nearly two to one lopsided wins in large non-contested states like CA, MD, NY and MA.
Meanwhile, Trump carried eight of thirteen highly contested swing states, and he did so with much slimmer margins than Clinton, but a win is a win when it comes to states.
We already know that if the contest were for the popular vote, Trump would have campaigned in large metropolitan areas regardless of the state's political history.
So to now come along after Clinton, Kayne, both Obamas and anyone with a BET music award spent the last week of the election in PA, OH, MI and WI and complain that the election shouldn't be decided by the states reeks of sour grapes.
I didn't scream fraud at all. My point is, Trump supporters are thrilled now but they will grow weary when Trump inevitably is hammered by over half the country. He only won 46.6% of the vote and people are well aware going in that a larger portion (over 2 million and more votes to count) did not want him so it only exacerbates the issue.
Yeah.... but when you subtract out the 3 million illegals who voted in CA, Trump crushed the popular vote as well.
Are you excited? On Jan. 20, 2017....YOUR President Donald John Trump! Rejoice!!!

There is no question that Republicans will have complete control over the next four years. They will also have complete blame.
First you fail to understand that the popular vote for presidents is affected by the presence of the electoral college. Then you forget that we vote for all the House of representatives and a third of the Senate in two years, not four.
I am not going to bother to explain anything to you. There are plenty of threads in this forum that have done so already. You either didn't find them yet or you did and couldn't understand what was being said.
Seek and ye shall find the answers to your concerns.
