Mr. Elite Tom Ford doesn't even sell his clothing online.
"Tom Ford doesn't sell his menswear online. You'll have to go to an upscale boutique to even try it on. But even on the eBay aftermarket start around $1,000 and can go all the way up to $5,800 if you want the same suit Daniel Craig wore as James Bond in Skyfall. We're guessing Jay-Z got his custom, which can put a $2,500-$3,000 suit in the ballpark of $4,000 after tax and alterations."

Where are these powerless women that can afford $3,500 for one piece of clothing?
Who is the target customer for Tom Ford? A minimum wage worker? A college intern?
The everyday person can't afford $3,500 almost anything let alone one stupid outfit
How out of touch is this guy and other liberals like him?..
What should Melania wear? Should she pull rags out of dumpsters from the streets of NYC just to prove a point?

The high-end designer added that he doesn't believe any first lady or woman in power should wear his designs because they can cost upwards of $3,500. The outspoken Democrat said that even if Hillary Clinton had won, he would not have dressed her.
"The first lady — other than the fact that I'm a Democrat and voted for Hillary [Clinton] and am very sad and disappointed that she’s not in office — even had Hillary won, she shouldn't be wearing my clothes. They're too expensive," Ford said.

Trump favors bespoke Brioni suits. Hand made in Italy. Brioni suits start at around $5,000 and go up from there. A bespoke (made to order) Brioni suit can cost $50,000. They are the definition of 'elite'.
However, during the campaign, he wore cheaper shiny suits (definitely not Brioni) with extra-large shoulder pads cut to accommodate his man girdle and shoe lifts. A style best described as 'Mafioso wanna-be'. He looks like a guy trying to be tougher than he is.
You are smarter than that. Come on. You cannot refuse service to GROUPS of people. It's discriminatory.
You can refuse an individual. He didn't refuse her (not that he sought his services) because she's female, from another country, heterosexual, etc.
He expressed a lack of desire to dress her that had nothing to do with any unchangeable characteristic of Mrs. Trump.
So, if some guy runs a cake shop and two gals or guys walk in looking for a wedding cake the owner can make up some BS about how he doesn't like selling to them because one of them is a known local politician or has an expensive ring or maybe he says that one of them is wearing cheap shoes and he doesn't like selling upscale cakes blah blah blah.
It's a cheesy premise, especially since he has made "exceptions".
I'm mostly put off because I can see this kind of lame excuse being utilized to discriminate against minority, lbgt etc. people, white guys with trump hats and many others. When you run a public business and start discriminating it's not a good thing.
