I find it hard to believe that the author of the article is gay as she claims to be. She writes like Pat Robertson. For one thing, she speaks of gay people and Christians as if they are mutually exclusive. People can be both. And what is this nonsense about the people who disapproved of this conservative Christian couple's views being "fascists?" People who throw around political terms like "fascist" and "communist" should at least know their correct meaning, especially when they are journalists.
Tammy Bruce is a popular conservative radio talk show host who happens to be gay.
We agree there,But you didnt mention Burger King in the other post.
That is how the court ruled. It was over building retail stores. The court got that one very wrong. The sad part is what they got in the end was a parking lot. They took people's homes and got a parking lot.
Notice how this guy writes very lengthy posts that I am sure he thinks sound very academic and then at the end of them he comes to the completely wrong conclusion? Because I'm pretty sure everyone else did.
What is becoming noticeable is your refusal to mount some sort of counterargument. And no, "the conclusion is completely wrong"" does not count as an argument.
I also think that a part of this is some LGBT activists feel they were wronged by the church or a pastor who made them feel awful about being gay. They'll soon start targeting church's for the tax exemptions and Christian schools that accept state or federal funds because of their traditional beliefs.
If Christian schools want government funds, they can play by government rules. Give to Caesar that which is Caesar's as a very smart guy once said.
Actually, a Constitutional scholar would tell you that since it's not in the Constitution, it falls to the states. See how I'm always right?
P.S. The people in every state rejected it, even in California, until liberal lawmakers had to defy the will of the people. That's your fact for the day.
Democrats have learned to use the supreme court to make law.
Ever meet a gay activist? They are crazy as hell...even worse that your typical prog. Nothing is ever enough for them. So they didn't nail Chip and Joanna Gaines, they'll be back, looking for another scalp.
I think another point of that article is that those activists do not represent the views of all those for whom they presume to speak, in this case gay people. The author of this article is a gay woman herself, and expresses the disgust for the activists' behavior that I'd think most others feel towards that behavior.
I'm more than happy to be ignorant of what gays whiff on .
