Yeah, well i don't think that poster is from New Mexico. Seems like he's a regular ol' white dude.
He's Marc P's sock puppet so he can rant and rave against Native Americans. That's my opinion and why I haven't dialed in on this vile, detestable thread although I'm native american and NOT one of those 1/32 Cherokee whose great grandma had an immaculate conception out behind the woodpile.
Nothing of value has been discussed in this thread, only hate and derision against me and my people.

noun
1.
a person born in a specified place or associated with a place by birth, whether subsequently resident there or not.
So, everyone born here is a Native American.
I would just point out that this is, by and large, a uniquely U.S. concept. (Note I did not say American, because the concept doesn't apply throughout all of the Americas.)
If you are born in Italy, are you Italian or an Italian citizen? No. In the eyes of Italian law, you are only Italian -- and therefore a citizen --if your ancestors were Italian. The same sort of distinction applies to most countries in the world, aside from the United States. The United States is one of the few industrialized countries where citizenship and legal residency are awarded due to place of birth. Elsewhere in the world, being born somewhere is no guarantee of citizenship or legal residency.
No, most people born here are native Americans. Only Indigenous people from here are Native Americans.
What? There were no indigenous Americans. All of our ancestors migrated here.
