Easy. Hillary Clinton was the will of the people, Donald Trump was installed by the system.

Exactly. Now he has to figure out how to govern without that support.

To answer your question, Governor moonbeam in his effort to win over the Hispanic vote when he ran for governor, felt it would gain him votes from Hispanics, plus, in his words,"it will help us to keep track of them".
"We will know where they are".

Now it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that allowing these illegal aliens to obtain a driver's license is a federal crime.
It s called, "conspiracy to commit fraud", as well as" aiding and abetting."
Both punishable by jail time.

Bob.

If feds try to ID deportable immigrants using California data, state will block access
It's called a "federal warrant" and its issued by a federal magistrate or judge. Look into it.

He'd be a fool to start with CA.

Smart move would be to start with Texas and Arizona. They will welcome him with open arms.

Donald Trump was elected by the people of this country, you've just decided you don't like the way we've always elected our Presidents because this time you lost.

He has the support of the American people, a relatively small portion of the left has stuck with their "not my President" ignorance. Most Americans (whether they voted for him or not) will stand up and support this President just like Americans have done for every President before him. Most democrats aren't irrational morons, we just have more than the average here on CD so the representation is a bit skewed.

He's starting with the United States, he'll be the President of all of them in just a few days.

With one exception. Many Hispanic citizens think their ethnic group is above our immigration laws and that they should be rewarded for breaking them instead of deportations. Those born here from illegal aliens deemed as citizens by a PC policy instead of what the 14th actually says and meant aka anchor babies will also vote for their own ethnic interests. That's one of the reasons that Calif. is going to turn into another Banana Republic. I know, I live here.

No I just stated the facts that apparently you don't like.

Donald Trump was installed by the system.

He was NOT 'elected by the people' as you inaccurately put it.

This is precisely why California has such a strong mandate to act forcefully to protect our residents and defiantly defend our values.

Donald Trump otoh, has no such mandate. Whatsoever.
