I saw Liz Warren at the inauguration swearing-in. Where is Hillary's running mate? Seems to have disappeared quietly?
(Sorry, dude, don't remember your name. Where are you?)
Apparently you haven't been paying attention. He was one of the senators grilling Trumps cabinet picks. Those hearing were all over the TV.
It's an insult to anyone who didn't vote for him because he considers anyone who disagrees with him as unpatriotic. His fans have carried out that theme on this very forum and else where.
Exactly! Tonight he even thanked the first responders who voted for him.
Sometimes I think he's just being humorous, but as Chaucer wrote, many a true word is spoken in jest.
I find it quite telling. Where are all the Americans who are ecstatic at his victory? Approximately half the attendees showed up for Trump's inauguration as Obama's first inauguration, and Obama's had a huge 1.8 million turnout.
I found his inaug. speech sad. He continued with his divisive campaign tone, instead of inspirational he was petty, he garnered a sense of revenge versus hope, he didn't have a message of inclusion, and he gaslighted the actual state of affairs, contradicting the numbers: lower unemployment than when Bush left office, stock market tripled in 8 years, more people than ever have (or had) health insurance, and he's walking into a job that was left in a good state by the previous prez.
He's the oldest person to ever take office, he's the first prez to walk into office with a bunch of scandals, he has zero experience in anything related to governing, he's an accused sexual attacker, cheater, and that's just a few on a long list.
BTW, estimates are that he got 1/3 the number of attendees at his inauguration than Obama did. I saw rows and rows of empty bleachers. 60 members of government boycotted his inauguration.
And here's the reality: all those factory workers who think Trump is going to reopen closed factories in the rust belt states? As if. Those people are S.O.L. Automation and technology, which won't be stopped, have had much more impact than jobs going overseas. Anyone who cannot use a computer has very little chance of finding employment. It's Darwinism and time is not going to go backwards.
