With the Muslim worship of the left I could see this happening .
Leftists women wearing hijabs to "stand in solitarily" maybe they are already doing it ?
Maybe the men will do it too , the same way they been wearing the pink little pussyhats.

Once it's on social media all the lemming leftists will start doing it .

I kind of would like the hijab to go mainstream fashion. Frankly, I've often looked at the Muslim women in the office and thought how nice it would be to not worry about your hair...just tie a pretty scarf around your head and go about your day!

Now where I work the women wear wigs to cover their hair for religious reasons. Everybody looks as if they have perfect hair. But that's a lot more expensive.

So you need the permission and approval of "mainstream fashion" to do that? What is stopping you from putting a scarf around your head and going about your day?

I really do not understand you people.

*shrug* That looks like a scarf, which I've worn in that manner before. Hijab is beautiful though.

Oh and I'm a libertarian...

How will they reconcile that with their cultural appropriation taboo?

Its a misogynist garment meant to control women, thats why only women and never men are mandated to wear it. To glorify it and make it synonymous with being muslim is extremely destructive for women's rights.

A garment is not owned by any religion or community. Wear scarf, grow a beard, become vegan.....who cares. Be a good person & thats it. So tired of these religion politics. Escaped my third world country to get away from this type of backward radical thinking but it follows me here. Getting emotional about religion represents collective ignorance of the left. We should be focusing on science, technology, education & not get played by media. Cant remember the last time I heard news about something I really care about like technology. Even entertainment websites like buzzfeed & award shows are politicizing everything. We are so ignorant & backward.

I'd rather wear that than any of the clothing items sold by Trump and made in China and Taiwan. Yeah, he is such a strong supporter of American Made Products !
