The same people acting like lost jobs are no big deal now would have had nervous breakdowns over such a quote a few years ago.
Romney was a specialist. He specialized in buying companies, killing them, and selling off the body parts. That's what Bain Capital did.

Romney didn't make new jobs. He destroyed old jobs, even when a company was doing just fine. He was a company killer, and it made no difference how many robots a company had when he killed it. The robots were just more capital he could profit from. unlike the people, who couldn't be sold used and still make a profit.

Robots were already well entrenched before the Great Recession landed on us. The recession just sped their use, as they could be written off, while living labor cannot.

If a company had to downsize to stay competitive, 3 robots that could do the work of 40 grunt jobs still kept them in biz. Lots and lots of industry was already headed there.

But robots only kill grunt jobs. Romney killed the guys who programmed the robot's jobs, the bosses' secretary, the sales reps, and all the other humans that made the company go, before or after the robots showed up.

Know the difference, Pedro. 2 different things entirely.

I went to nursing school in my 40's. It's the hardest thing I've had to do.

I've lived in 9 different states and some of them were against my will because I was in the military.

No sympathy here.

So, now, we not only have to support the people on welfare, the ilegal immigrants (who are willing to work), and the self pitying ones who want to make $60,000/year with a GED
You're siding with the ideology that caused you those hardships, instead of standing up for the rights of other average Americans.

Do you want others to suffer since you had to suffer?

"Master, those other slaves aren't being whipped severely enough! You whipped me severely last week, so why are they getting off so easily? It's not fair! Make them work harder! Beat them!"

Coming from someone with the posting name firebirdcamaro, I would probably assume you didn't spend much time with honor students. Sort of like your pathetic attempts at weather modeling. lol That was classic

Just because I have an affinity for pony cars, I somehow must be dumb? Way to stereotype. And I actually was on the honor role back in High School. I didn't go to college, but probably would have gotten a B.S. degree if I had went.

Hahaha nope

When we see those numbers reported by bls.gov or the federal reserve, then they are on record.

Until then, meow on outta here with that nonsense.

Trump isn't the one who is clueless. It is his Democrat critics.

What percentage of companies acquired by Bain were shut down?

Ok, sure. Lol

I'll locate the class you took "Why trade deficits are good and every country should seek a debt greater than their GDP".

Yep, and we should replace all of our nurses with nurses from the Philippines at 1/3 the cost.
